SCALER, the live electronic outfit formerly known as Scalping, have dropped their new track, ‘New Symbols’. In this new era as a band, they’ve dived further into dance and club influences, with huge synth lines, glitching samples and a thick bass underpinning the noisy chaos. The band were focused on “exploring different flavours of distortions across all instruments whilst remaining functional at its core, which we especially enjoyed sculpting in the middle shoegazey section - which is particularly fun live.” The end result is an evolving, unique piece of music that has found them fans across a multitude of genres.
